Printer-friendly versionEvaluator Training Events (by invitation only)
In order to orient team members to their role in participating on an accreditation visit, mandatory training is held twice a year for people appointed to serve on teams. All Team Chairs, Assistant Chairs, and in-region Evaluators are invited to attend a full-day workshop held a semester prior to the visit (in May for Fall visits; in November for Spring visits).
Team members who are out of the region and/or cannot attend the full-day workshop must participate in one of the two-hour webinar sessions.
Additionally, Assistant Chairs are expected to attend a one hour webinar for training specific to their role on the team.
These training events cover visit preparation and logistics; a review of the Standards and CFRs; and methods for conducting visits, including strategies that align with the two-visit model and focus on student learning.
For further information about these Evaluator Training events, please contact Philip Cole-Regis (pcregis [at] wascsenior [dot] org).
