At its meeting on June 22-24, 2011, the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities acted to issue an order to Show Cause why the accreditation of Trident University International should not be terminated as of March 30, 2012. A Show Cause action reflects the Commission's finding that the institution is substantially out of compliance with one or more of the Standards of Accreditation and must demonstrate within one year why its accreditation should not be terminated. At its meeting on February 16-18, 2011, the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) put Patten University on probation. This action means that the Commission found Patten to have serious areas of noncompliance with the Standards of Accreditation. Accreditation of Patten University continues during this Probation Cause period.
At its meeting on February 16-18, 2011, the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) removed Phillips Graduate Institute from Probation and imposed a Warning. This action means that the Commission found that Phillips had made progress in addressing the matters that led to its being placed on Probation but that it continues to be out of compliance with one or more Standards of Accreditation.
