Eligibility, Candidacy and Initial Accreditation

The procedures manual on Eligibility, Candidacy, and Initial Accreditation entitled How to Become Accredited has been published in conjunction with the Handbook of Accreditation 2001. Please take particular note of the guidelines on the types of documentation that should accompany an application for accreditation (pp. 6-8).

Reaffirmation

Institutions seeking reaffirmation should refer to the WASC Handbook of Accreditation.   This guiding document for the accreditation review process contains WASC standards, the institutional review process, commission decision structure, policies, practices, and other information.
